May the Fourth Be With You

I don’t know if you guys know this, but the original Star Wars trilogy are probably the greatest movies of all time. I also don’t know if you know that May 4th is the world’s unofficial Star Wars Day (because May the 4th be with you–get it??) This Star Wars day I had planned a whole long weekend of activities that involved things such as attending a lightsaber dueling class, watching A LOT of Star Wars movies, and going to the Binghamton Philharmonic’s “The Music of Star Wars” concert.

Alas Covid-19 had other ideas for my life. SO instead I watched A LOT of Star Wars movies and ate A LOT of Star Wars themed treats and wore all of my Star Wars shirts.

Not as epic a celebration as one would hope for, but you have to show up with your nerdiness as best you can in these difficult times. Here’s the breakdown:

I made Star Wars shaped cookies. These are the only ones that came out as shapes instead of blobs.
I also made these lunch baggies and Star Wars themed muffins
I drank bantha milk (or you know, a vanilla milkshake with blue food coloring)
I ate Star Wars shaped pancakes
