Life in Self Isolation

What is there to say about all this COVID-19 business that hasn’t already been said? Life in a pandemic goes on much the same as regular life. Well, with a few small differences.

I went to work

By this I mean I alternated between working at my dining room table and on my couch

I got a haircut at my local hairdresser.

By “hairdresser” I mean my husband and by “local” I mean our bathroom

I went to kickboxing class

By “went to” I mean in my basement and by “kickboxing class” I mean a video that my instructor recorded for everyone.

I got rolls at my local bakery

By “bakery” I mean I was the baker and by “local” I mean my kitchen

I went to a wine and painting date night with my husband

By “went to” I mean our living room and by “wine and painting date night” I mean Bob Ross on Netflix, a box of House Wine Pinot Noir and some cheap acrylic paints on canvas boards.

I have also calculated that we have 28 days of toilet paper remaining to us. My next big adventure may be learning how to make home made toilet paper.

I hope you’re all doing well and staying safe and healthy.
