1000 Things To Do

I have too many things to do.

But this week was our 3rd wedding anniversary and we went to the Thousand islands where I was forced to slow down. Like sleep in until 11am, afternoon naps, mornings sitting outside under the awning for hours, no internet service, way down.

The things were still waiting for me in the world outside of that small vacation bubble so I did my best to stay in the quiet moments.

Watching TV in the camper with Chief curled up next to us and we both tried to find a comfortable position on an uncomfortable dinette couch.

Walking around Alexandria Bay and wondering why all little tourist towns look the same.

Waiting for the guys to pick us up in the boat that would never come because it was “the worst boat they’d ever seen” and lost power before even getting out of the Marina. On that note Bayside Marina is the WORST, do not try and rent from them! They rented us a boat for $200 a day that was disgusting, spewed oil and (thankfully) did not make it far from the dock.

Taking an Uncle Sam boat tour out of Alex Bay after our rental boat died and they had nothing else for us and no one else had anything available.

Boldt castle

Swims in the clearest water I’ve seen in New York.

Sunset walks around lighthouses.

Lot’s of sitting.
