They say we spend 90% of our lives inside. If that was converted to hours in a day it would mean we spend 21 hours and 36 minutes inside. Every single day. And only 2 hours and 24 minutes outside. And that, honestly… sounds about right.
On this note though, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency says that indoor air can be two to five times more polluted than outdoor air. All this thanks to humidity, mold, and incorrect internal temperatures. I think the answer is: get outside.
So when a friend was having a hard time, I asked what I could do to help.
Her answer: “Maybe we need to plan a camping weekend that would def help.”
And so it will.
