I saw this sign coming down from hiking Colvin and Blake. I have to be honest; I took the easy route. My only excuse for this is that I already had 12 miles on my legs and they were shaking like jello, and it had started raining.

I hope your path in life isn’t the easiest one, but is instead the more beautiful one.
I hope you’re willing to do harder things for a more spectacular life. It’s easy to sit at home. It’s easy to lose yourself in your phone or the TV screen. But I hope you look up. I hope you see the world. I hope you dare to take your own scenic route.
