Sometimes I wish I could take a rest day from life. Like it’s easy to take a rest day from exercise, because who really wants to do that anyway?
But life? Can I get a day off from waking up, showering, feeding myself, dishes, writing blog posts, thinking, doing things, responsibilities, expectations, walking the dog, bed time, toothbrushing, getting the mail, social media, watching TV, drinking enough water, gravity, time, thoughts?
I think this is probably why people meditate. I should start meditating.
In the meantime I know I can’t get a rest day from existing so I will do what I always do instead. Everything I can.
